The month has been great though with below average temperatures everyday, but July 1st. It looks like that streak will be ending this weekend.
We will continue to climb into the weekend, so say goodbye to the below normal for July. The winds have switched to out of the south, so more moisture is pushing north from the Gulf of Mexico. Expect the humidity to go up into the early part of the weekend. High temperatures will be in the upper 90s, but it will feel like it's in the triple digits.
Big pattern change on the way
You may be very disappointed to hear this, but the mild summer weather is about to come to an end. A true, Texas summer weather pattern is about to settle in. The heat dome will build in from the west and this will keep rain chances to a minimum and the temperatures will be on the rise.
Highs will climb into the upper 90's over the weekend with triple digit heat expected into next week.
