Stay safe!

Please find time to take breaks and drink lots of water if you have to be out in this heat. While North Texas is used to the heat, it can be dangerous if you are not properly prepared.

The heat builds this week with highs easily above 100° most of the week. The humidity will be sticking around keeping heat index values between 105° and 110°. While the humidity may decrease a bit mid to late week, temps will be higher so heat index values will continue to be similar.

Some relief may be on the horizon for 4th of July weekend with a return of "cooler" temps and rain chances.
