Sunday will not be a repeat of what we saw on Saturday, but it will not be rain-free either.

Quick facts:

  • Scattered rain on Sunday
  • No severe weather
  • Cooler start to the workweek

Saturday soaking!

An overachiever in the rain department is always appreciated when no severe weather and/or flooding is involved. Great rain totals for North Texas from the rain Saturday.

Cooler and dry start to the workweek

A reinforcing shot of cooler air will spill into North Texas late Sunday which will bring lows into the 40s north Monday and Tuesday mornings and highs get stuck in the 60s. Warmer air and thunderstorm chances return Wednesday and Thursday. Overall temperatures are really hugging close to the norms for this time of the year.

Next chance of rain

It's like clockwork... another chance for rain and thunderstorms Wednesday night into Thursday. While we can't rule out a strong or severe storm, the setup isn't robust like it was last Thursday. The severe risk looks low.
