DFW Weather: Chilly mornings and cool afternoons to end the year

After a cold front arrived just in time for Christmas, seasonable weather will be sticking around through the end of the year.

DALLAS — Christmas is here! Here's what we're expecting weather-wise through the end of the year:

A cold start to the morning!

Temps around or below freezing to start the day with lows in the 30s area-wide. A light freeze is possible in some places.

With plenty of sunshine temps will warm into the 50s during the afternoon. Around normal for this time of year.

14-day forecast

After Christmas and rounding out the year, temps look back closer to normal. Highs in the 50s and mornings in the 30s. That pattern continues into the New Year, but some rain may make a return heading into 2024 as well.
