DALLAS — An unsettled pattern returns to North Texas lasting through most of this week.

Unsettled pattern continues
Rain chances continue into this week with on and off showers and storms. After the weekend, the best chance for rain looks to be Tuesday into Wednesday.
Tuesday will also be the day this week to watch for strong to severe storms.
Some storm could become severe mainly from D-FW to the south late in the day Tuesday into Tuesday night. Large hail and strong winds appear to be the highest threats right now.
This rain will be beneficial! Between Sunday and this Friday, it looks like the metroplex could pick up one to two inches of rain with higher totals across East Texas.
10-day forecast
Most of the next 10 days is looking below normal with highs normally in the upper 70s this time of year.
A weak cold front looks to arrive late Friday into Saturday and could cause a few showers or storms to be around Saturday morning, but most of next weekend is looking dry.
