Want a tropical paradise? There's a new nonstop flight service between DFW and Fiji

The new international service will operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

DALLAS — Planning a winter holiday getaway?

Fiji Airways will begin offering nonstop flights between Nadi, Fiji, and DFW International Airport in time for the holidays.

The new international flights will operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday using Fiji Airways’  A350-900 XWB aircraft. The first flight of the new route is scheduled to depart Dec. 10 with introductory fares starting at $699. Tickets are available on Fiji Airways’ website.

"DFW is excited to add  the beautiful islands of Fiji to our growing portfolio of international destinations, bringing North Texas nonstop access to a tropical paradise and connecting Nadi with DFW’s network of more than 250 destinations around the world,” said DFW’s CEO Sean Donohue.

Dallas Fort Worth marks Fiji Airways' 24th international nonstop route and will be the fifth North American destination served by the airline.
