DALLAS COUNTY, Texas — Dallas-based Southwest Airlines is the first airline to partner with Amazon for a Prime Day deal for travelers. If you want cheaper air fare for Prime Day, you better act fast.
Southwest Airlines is offering up to 30% off base fares for those who book by July 17 during Prime Day.
“Amazon’s Prime Day Event draws consumers looking for travel deals and inspiration, and we’re inviting Prime members to enjoy Southwest's service with a discount on our already low fares,” Southwest said in a statement on their website.
Continental domestic flights, as well as Hawaii and Puerto Rico flights are eligible for the deal with different travel windows and blackout dates, according to the airline’s website. To take advantage of the deal, in most cases, travel must occur between August 6 and Dec. 18.
Visit Amazon’s travel deals page for more details or search for flights by entering the promo code “PRIME” on Southwest’s website.
