DALLAS — American Airlines is expanding its service as part of its largest schedule to Italy next summer.
The airline is adding service from DFW to Venice in summer 2025 for the first time ever. Service from DFW to Venice will operate daily starting June 5 on a Boeing 787-8.
Additionally, American Airlines is expanding its service to London-Heathrow with an additional flight next summer, marking five daily flights between the two airports.
“It’s clear that Europe remains a top destination for our customers, and we’re excited to offer more ways to get there direct from DFW,” said American Airlines Senior Vice President of DFW Operations Jim Moses in a statement. “As American’s largest hub, not only do we provide an unparalleled network to customers in our hometown, but we’re also very proud of our connecting power – which gives customers from more than 200 destinations across North America the chance to visit Europe with one convenient stop at DFW.”
Venice is joining a lineup of nine European destinations accessible from DFW, including Rome, Paris and Dublin.
This expansion also returns the number of transatlantic destinations available from DFW to pre-pandemic levels.
