DALLAS — The Dallas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) is investigating a deadly pedestrian accident that occurred Saturday evening in the westbound lanes of US-175 near Haymarket Road.
DCSO posted to its X page at about 6:45 p.m. saying all traffic was being diverted at Masters Drive.
No further details about the pedestrian or the circumstances surrounding the accident have been released at this time.
TxDOT cameras in the area showed a major backup in traffic as everyone was attempting to exit onto the frontage road.
The Dallas County Sheriff's Office says they found automobile parts at the scene, but they don't have leads or a suspect vehicle description.
