RICHARDSON, Texas — A water main break in Richardson is causing traffic for afternoon commuters.
According to the City of Richardson, a large water main near the intersection of E. Arapaho Road and N. Greenville Ave. broke around 3 p.m. Monday. As crews work to assess the damage and make repairs, several lanes of traffic will be closed, according to the city.
City officials said the cause of the break and the estimated time of repair are unknown at this time. The city asks commuters take alternate routes to avoid the intersection.
