MCKINNEY, Texas — An accident involving an overturned 18-wheeler shut down all southbound main lanes on US 75 at US 380 on Thursday afternoon.
Traffic was getting by on the left shoulder, TxDOT cameras showed.
McKinney police told WFAA that the driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police said the vehicle's sand cargo spilled, which was also seen on the TxDOT cameras.
An alternate route for drivers in the area would be to take TX 121 eastbound to N. McDonald St. All exits to US 380 from Central Expressway are open.
