Traffic shift on US 377, US 380 starts Monday for reconstruction project

The project includes repairing the existing roadway and adding an additional turn lane on US 377 at Farm-to-Market 3524/Sherman Drive in Aubrey.

DENTON COUNTY, Texas — According to TxDOT, weather permitting, construction will begin on US 377 between US 380 and Grayson County Line starting at 9 a.m., Monday, October 23, 2023, for a pavement reconstruction project. 

The project includes repairing the existing roadway and adding an additional turn lane on US 377 at FM 3524/Sherman Drive in Aubrey. 

There will be daily lane closures scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. throughout the project. Drivers should plan ahead.


This is a $7.5 million project that was awarded to Jagoe Public Company and is anticipated to be completed in Fall 2024, weather permitting.
