DALLAS — Heavy delays are expected on Dallas North Tollway this weekend as multiple lanes will be closed in Dallas for construction, according to the North Texas Toll Authority.
Two north- and southbound lanes of the tollway will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday between I-35E and Mockingbird Lane, as well as the southbound entrance ramp at Lomo Alto Drive.
Apps like Google Maps, Waze and Apple Maps are being informed and will reroute drivers to avoid the closure area. Message boards will also be used to alert nearby drivers of the closure.
Closures are subject to weather conditions and may be postponed, if necessary.
