MESQUITE, Texas — A fuel spill is causing closures for entrance ramps from Interstate 635 to Interstate 30 in Mesquite.
Police tell WFAA that multiple entrance ramps from north and southbound I-635 onto I-30 have been shut down as crews clean up the spill.
According to police, the accident happened between southbound I-635 and westbound I-30. There was an accident involving a pickup truck and a large cargo truck, causing the cargo truck to leak a large amount of diesel fuel onto the roadway.
As of 5:40 a.m., TXDOT expects cleanup to last an hour, according to Mesquite police.
