DALLAS — Two were killed after a head-on, wrong-way crash on I-30 at the U.S. 80 split Sunday, officials said.
Emergency officials responded to reports of a crash around 5:49 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22 on Interstate 30 near Jim Miller Road, according to a press release from Dallas Fire Rescue.
Dallas County Sheriff’s Office deputies say a pickup truck going the wrong way hit a U-Haul truck head-on around 6:30 a.m.
Deputies say two people who were in the pickup truck died.
One of the vehicles involved in the crash burst into flames with one occupant inside, officials said.
