FOREST HILL, Texas — Drivers in Tarrant County need to plan ahead for a full closure along westbound I-20 in Forest Hill.
The highway will be fully closed at Anglin Drive from 11 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 to 6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 26 for construction activities, weather permitting, according to South-Point Constructors, the joint venture overseeing the Southeast Connector project.
All westbound traffic will be detoured to the frontage road.
In case of inclement weather, this closure will be rescheduled for the evening of Oct. 26.
During this time, drivers should plan accordingly and add extra time to their commute. Drivers are reminded that the speed limit has been reduced to 55 mph throughout the Southeast Connector corridor.
Drivers are encouraged to visit southeastconnector.com to stay up to date on all major upcoming operations along the project. Please note all construction work is dependent on weather conditions.
