ARLINGTON, Texas — Drivers heading southbound on State Highway 360 near Holland Road hit a major delay during their Thursday evening commute.
Grand Prairie police said a vehicle lost control and struck a police car and another vehicle.
No one was seriously injured but the accident caused a miles-long backup on SH 360. TxDOT cameras showed the backup building in the Mansfield area.
At one point, drivers were being diverted off SH 360 at the Debbie Lane exit ramp, while officials investigated the crash.
Just before 7:30 p.m., traffic officials reopened all the southbound lanes.
The accident occurred within multiple jurisdictions, police said. Mansfield PD and Texas DPS also responded to the scene.
No charges were filed against the driver who lost control, Grand Prairie PD confirmed.
