FORT WORTH, Texas — Southbound lanes have been reopened on IH-35 W near Ripy in Fort Worth following a collision, according to Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
According to a TxDOT map, all four main lanes and both shoulders of the major highway were shutdown around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday.
Nearby TxDOT cameras showed major traffic backups as drivers were being rerouted along the frontage roads.
While there is still some traffic along the frontage road, there appears to be a steady flow of traffic on all lanes of the highway.
It not yet clear what caused the incident, how many people were involved or if anyone was hurt.
