Eastbound lanes of Interstate 30 near downtown Dallas were shut down Sunday afternoon after a collision involving two different semi trucks and an SUV.
A man and two children, ages 11 and 12, were taken to the hospital with injuries. Conditions were not immediately made available.
Hazmat crews were at the scene near South Riverfront Boulevard.
Images captured by a News 8 photojournalist Thomas Costley at the scene showed the front end of one semi truck smashed in. An orange crossover SUV appeared to be wedged under the back end of trailer on a second semi.
Motorists should seek an alternate route in the area.
