LEWISVILLE, Texas — Drivers in Lewisville will have to deal with lane closures along the Sam Rayburn Tollway (SRT) through July.

The closures began in late May and will last for the next several weeks as construction continues for new concrete railways.

The closures include the SRT right eastbound lane from Denton Tap Road to MacArthur Boulevard, as well as the entrance ramp from Denton Tap Road. All eastbound closures will last through June 30. The right lane of the westbound portion of SRT from Lake Vista Drive to MacArthur Boulevard will be closed until July 31.

Signage and message boards will be placed in the area to notify drivers of the closures.

All closures are dependent on weather conditions and may be delayed if necessary.

The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) is urging everyone to use caution and expect possible delays when traveling through construction zones.
