Low-hanging power lines over Interstate 20 are causing a shutdown in both directions Friday at State Highway 34 in Terrell, in front of Tanger Outlets, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
The closure could last until Saturday morning, TxDOT said.
Drivers are being forced to exit onto the service road of S.H. 34.
A power pole had buckled, causing the safety issue, according to TxDOT.
Oncor should arrive by 1:30 p.m. and hopefully, the issue will be fixed by 4 p.m., TxDoT said.
