IRVING, Texas — An 18-wheeler fire shut down portions of State Highway 114 near Riverside Drive in Irving overnight, officials said.
The fire was under control by about 4:45 a.m., the Irving Fire Department said in a statement. Six fire engines responded to the fire, officials said.
There were no reports of injuries as a result of the fire, the department said. Cleanup will be extensive and may affect morning traffic on both sides of 114, officials said.
