FORT WORTH, Texas — A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday morning in a crash with a semi-truck, according to Fort Worth police.
The Fort Worth Police Department (FWPD) said officers were dispatched at approximately 1:27 a.m. Tuesday to North Freeway and Fossil Creek Boulevard for a major accident. When officers got there, they saw two vehicles had crashed – a semi-truck and motorcycle.
Fort Worth police and MedStar began providing medical care for those involved in the crash. The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene by medical personnel, FWPD said. The driver of the semi was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threating injuries.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the victim once next of kin have been notified, police said.
