NORTHLAKE, Texas — Interstate 35 West in Northlake is currently shut down due to a deadly crash in the northbound lanes near State Highway 114.
According to a Facebook post from the Town of Northlake posted just after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, the police department is at the scene near the 72-mile marker.
The town said drivers should expect delays as the highway is shut down while the investigation is being completed.
Texas Department of Transportation cameras in the area show a major backup of cars as they attempt to exit onto the frontage road.
It is currently unknown how many vehicles were involved and how many people were killed or injured in the crash.
