DALLAS — Police are investigating a fatal crash that killed one pedestrian Wednesday.
Officers responded to reports of a crash at about 4:20 a.m. in the 9500 block of Forest Lane, according to a press release from the Dallas Police Department.
Investigators found that a woman crossing the street outside of a designated crosswalk was hit by a car driving westbound. The woman was then hit by a second vehicle, police said.
The victim died on the scene, police said. The department did not immediately release the name of the victim.
The incident is under investigation, police said.
