DALLAS — A pedestrian was killed in a fatal crash Saturday night, Dallas police said.
Officers responded to a crash around 11:12 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7 in the 9800 block of South Central Expressway, Dallas police said in a statement. Police found that a pedestrian was walking southbound in the left lane of traffic when a driver struck the pedestrian, the statement reads.
The driver stopped and remained at the scene, police said. The pedestrian died at the scene, according to the statement.
Police did not immediately release the name of the pedestrian.
