DALLAS — Traffic was backed up for several miles Wednesday morning after an accident shut down all southbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway, officials said.
The toll road was closed at Spring Valley Road due to an accident, according to a press release from the North Texas Tollway Authority.
The crash involved four vehicles, however, no injuries were reported, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. One vehicle caught fire, prompting emergency officials to shut down the road, the department said.
As of 7:30 a.m., Oct. 23, traffic was backed up through Addison to Frankford Road. Around 8:30 a.m., all lanes were reopened.
