PARKER COUNTY, Texas — A 34-year-old woman was killed in a Parker County crash, officials said.
The two-vehicle crash occurred around 7:14 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20 in the eastbound lanes of State Highway 180 near mile marker 544, according to a release from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Stephanie Whitton, 34, died in the crash, according to the department. She was the passenger of a car that struck the rear of a tractor-trailer, the release states. The driver of the car, 39-year-old Phillip Whitton, was taken to a hospital, the release states.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured the release states.
