DALLAS — Excitement is high for Dallas Wings basketball as 2024 season ticket memberships and the preseason game against the Indiana Fever have sold out.
The May 3 game at the College Park Center in Arlington will pit Wings' Jacy Sheldon, the No. 5 pick in last week’s WNBA Draft, against women's basketball sensation Caitlin Clark.
With a big name like Clark, who was the Fever’s No. 1 pick, headed to North Texas, it’s no surprise tickets sold out within days of going on sale.
Both Clark and Sheldon will make their WNBA debut.
Prices for tickets have soared; some of the highest prices ranged from $700 to $1,100. The lowest, per various ticket purchasing outlets, hovered just under $110.
If you're one of the unlucky ones who didn't net a ticket, you'll be able to watch the action live on Bally Sports Southwest, the Wings’ local broadcast partner. Fans can also stream the game in the Bally Sports app and at BallySports.com
The Wings-Fever tilt will also stream on WNBA League Pass for fans who live outside of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
The Fever will return and play the Wings later in the year. The Wings will also play back-to-back season games against the Chicago Sky, which drafted Angel Reese, another top-draw talent coming to the WNBA.
Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame inductee and Texas native Sheryl Swoopes, veteran play-by-play voice Ron Thulin and sideline reporter ShaVonne Herndon all return to call Dallas Wings games in 2024.
