DALLAS — Dallas Wings star guard Arike Ogunbowale will be recognized at Dallas City Hall for winning the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game MVP award last month.

Wednesday, Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson and City Council members will recognize Ogunbowale for her achievement. The event will happen in City Council chambers at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28.

Ogunbowale put on a record-setting performance to earn the award, scoring the most points in a single quarter for the WNBA All-Star Game with 21. Her 34 total points helped lead Team WNBA to a 117-109 win over Team USA.
