KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Soccer fans tuned in to the Copa America matchup between the U.S. and Uruguay on Monday, but a distant camera angle set social media ablaze.

Monday's match broadcast on FS1 seemed extremely distant, and fans quickly took notice. For many, it felt like a test at the optometrist's. For others, it felt like a view from the nosebleeds.

The match was played at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. FS1 calls the camera angle the "All-22" angle, meaning you can see all the players on the pitch.

For fans, it seemed to be a distraction from what is an important game for the USMNT. After going 1-0-1, the U.S. needed a win to secure competition past the group stage.

Despite the angle, fans had a bit of fun. Some compared it to an image from space, others used memes to express their opinions.
