Dallas Trinity FC names club's first head coach

Dallas Trinity FC's home opener at Cotton Bowl Stadium will be Sept. 7 against DC Power FC.

DALLAS — Dallas Trinity FC, the city's first professional soccer team, named its first head coach on Thursday. 

Former Scotland Women's National Team player Pauline MacDonald will take the reigns for Dallas Trinity FC. MacDonald has made more than 60 international caps during her playing career and spent nearly 20 years in various coaching and development roles within the Scottish FA.

She most recently served as head coach of Scotland’s national under-17 women's team. 

Dallas Trinity FC's full season schedule was released in late May, with 14 games on each club's schedule, playing a home and away match versus the other seven clubs. Dallas Trinity FC's home opener at Cotton Bowl Stadium will be Sept. 7 against DC Power FC. For a full look at the season schedule, click here
