FRISCO, Texas — The Savanah Bananas, billed as the "fastest and most entertaining game in sports" is embarking on a tour of 40 cities in 2025.
Joining the Banana Ball World Tour will be the Texas Tailgaters, a new team for the 2025 season. The new team will play 33 games against existing teams the Savannah Bananas, Party Animals and Firefighters, including eight games at MLB stadiums.
The Tailgaters will take on the Party Animals Sept. 5-6, at Riders stadium in Frisco, according to the newly released schedule. The entire tour will include 18 MLB stadiums and three football stadiums.
The Savanah Bananas plays a version of baseball called Banana Ball which gets rid of the lulls and pauses found in traditional baseball games, according to the organization's website. Plus, expect trick plays and dancing.
Fans can join the Banana Ball Texas Lottery List to get the chance to purchase tickets about two months before the date of the event, according to the team's website. Fans have until Nov. 1 when a random drawing will take place.
