Wemby throws down 'Space Jam' looking dunk in Olympics vs. Brazil

The 7-foot, 4-inch French star for the San Antonio Spurs had heads turning in reaction to the unreal dunk.

PARIS, France — It's official (if it wasn't already): Victor Wembanyama is not from this planet.

The San Antonio Spurs' 7-foot, 4-inch French star threw down a dunk reminiscent of things you only see in movies ... Space Jam to be more specific. Wemby's long arms looked so stretched out like Michael Jordan's did in the movie, and the broadcasting crew loved every second of it.

"Have you ever seen anything like Wemby?"

"Yes, on Space Jam," NBA legend Dwayne Wade said on the broadcast.

It happened just over two minutes before halftime of France's opening game against Brazil. Take a look at the highlight dunk below

Wembanyama posted a score line of 14 points on 6-for-9 shooting, five rebounds and one block in the first half. France went on to beat Brazil 78-66. Wembanyama finished the game with team-highs of 19 points and nine rebounds.
