Coming off another dominating showing at Texas High School Lacrosse League state tournament in Allen, North Texas programs continue to be a national hotbed of talent. While Jesuit beat Highland Park in an all-North Texas championship for the Division I title; Colleyville Heritage defeated McKinney in an all-North Texas championship in the Division II final.

Among Jesuit, Highland Park and ESD as DI Final Four qualifiers, there are 21 players with college scholarships and more will come. Not bad when there are only 10 starters per team. There are another dozen players in North Texas to colleges with notable college LAX programs.

State championship: Jesuit 9, Highland Park 4 (F)
