Dallas Stars' Mason Marchment celebrates a goal with Matt Duchene, Nils Lundkvist and Tyler Seguin during the first period vs the Pittsburgh Penguins.

DALLAS — The Dallas Stars put on a scoring onslaught against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

They scored as many goals in the first period alone (6) as the Cowboys did points for the entire game against the Eagles. By the end of the night, the Stars added another to surpass that mark and win the game 7-1.

The first goal of the game, though, scored by Matt Duchene had his kiddos cheering adorably from the comfort of their living room. Duchene posted the video to his Instagram on Tuesday and it's one of the cutest things you'll see today.

"Go .... yes! Daddy scored," one of his kids exclaimed in the video.

Then, the room erupted with cheers from all the young little voices as they bounced around, proud of their dad.

The only way it could have been any better was if they broke out a Dallas Stars chant ... but they're clearly very young – so we'll give 'em a pass this time.
