DALLAS — One of the most desirable free agents in the NFL right now reportedly decided against going to Dallas and instead joined one of the Cowboys' main rivals.
All-pro linebacker Shaquille Leonard is signing a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Leonard was reportedly considering signing with either the Cowboys or the Eagles after he was waived by the Indianapolis Colts on Nov. 21, 2023. He visited both teams before signing with Philadelphia on Monday.
The Eagles' next game is Sunday night at Dallas against the Cowboys.
