The quarterback controversy is no longer.

Dak Prescott had no issues with Tony Romo standing on the sidelines in uniform, completing 27 of 36 passes for 301 yards and three touchdowns, as the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Baltimore Ravens 27-17, to move to 9-1 on the year.

"I don’t think he knows when the momentum is going the other way," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said. "It was really an outstanding game on his part out there.”

It's the ninth consecutive victory for the Cowboys, setting an all-time record for an in-season win streak.

Dez Bryant caught two of those Prescott touchdown passes, racking up a second consecutive strong week with 6 receptions for 80 yards and the two scores. The standout game comes just a day after Bryant attended his father's funeral, in Lufkin, TX.

"Been a challenging week for him and he’s done a great job maintaining his focus come Sunday afternoon," Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said of Bryant. "He did that last week and he did again today. He made some big plays in the game for us.

"When you get down in there close, if you cash in on the drive with touchdowns, that’s really, really important. We know that and he’s a hard matchup player. When we leave him out there by himself, there’s not many guys in this league who can guard him."

“We’re taking one day at a time and focusing on what’s happening at that moment," Bryant said after the game. "We’re not looking too far ahead. We care for one another and that will remain. We just battle each and every day.”

Ezekiel Elliott had another solid game, helping the Cowboys eat up huge chunks of clock in the fourth quarter, finishing with 97 yards on 25 carries. The Cowboys ran for 118 yards against the Ravens #1 ranked run defense.

"It was definitely a big challenge," Elliott said. "They were physical and they game planned really well. They always seem to have an extra guy in the front to fill the box. Like I said, we’re a physical group of guys and we learn what we need to do to change.”

Elliott also broke Tony Dorsett's record for rushing yards by a Dallas Cowboys rookie, eclipsing Dorsett's mark of 1,007 yards. Elliott is now up to 1,102 yards for the season.

“It feels great. It means a lot," Elliott said. "We’ve got a great front. They go out there and pave the way and run their tails off. They make it easy for me certain days. It means a lot with the pedigree of this position playing for the Dallas Cowboys. It means a lot to me to go out there and break a record. Its one step more to where we want to be. One step more to greatness.”

Cole Beasley had the other touchdown reception, hauling in five catches for 59 yards and the score.

Jason Witten had five receptions for 37 yards.

The Cowboys defense did a very nice job keeping the game within reach in the first half, when the Ravens could have posted a couple early scores.

“I think we’re playing the right way," Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee said. "Even when we do struggle, we know if we get back to what we do, do our job, play with the right intensity, we can stop teams.”

The Cowboys now hit a short week, as they prepare for their annual Thanksgiving Day game, when they host Washington on Thursday.
