ARLINGTON, Texas — Former Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware will be inducted into the Ring of Honor during halftime of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams, the team announced Wednesday.
Ware will become the 23rd Dallas Cowboy to be enshrined in the Ring of Honor. This comes months after Ware was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame back in August. Dallas selected Ware with the No. 11 overall pick in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He went on to play eight seasons for the Cowboys, amassing a franchise records in sacks (117), forced fumbles (32), tackles for loss (145) and quarterback hits (185).
He had a career-high 20 sacks in 2008, as well as 15.5 sacks in 2010 and 19.5 in 2011.
In 2014, he went on to join the Denver Broncos, where he won a Super Bowl championship at the end of the 2015 season. He retired in 2017.

Ware will be inducted by Dallas Cowboys Owner, President and General Manager Jerry Jones, and to honor the occasion, other Ring of Honor members will be alongside Ware and Jones on the field for the ceremony.
