Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones arrives to practice in a helicopter

Some things never change.

FRISCO, Texas — Well, it hasn't been the start to the season that Dallas Cowboys fans hoped for -- but owner Jerry Jones appears to still be flying high.

On Wednesday, Jones arrived at the Cowboys' practice facility, The Star in Frisco, in his helicopter -- while players were on the practice field.

WFAA Sports Reporter Michelle Montaine was able to capture the scene as Jones touched down (pun intended):

It's been a gloomy day for the Cowboys as it was announced that the team will be without wide receiver Brandin Cooks for this week's game against Pittsburgh, and maybe more, as he deals with an infection and recovery from an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee, sources told WFAA Cowboys insider Ed Werder.

The Cowboys will also be without star defenders Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence as they deal with injuries suffered in a win against the New York Giants.

So, while the Cowboys are limping into this week's Sunday Night Football matchup, Jones is doing his part to keep his team in the headlines -- even if that means making a dramatic entrance during a practice.
