DALLAS — Dallas Cowboys Owner and General Manager Jerry Jones not only gave props to his current players Dak Prescott and Daron Bland on his weekly radio hit with 105.3 The Fan's Shan & RJ, but he also praised former Colts All-Pro linebacker Shaquille Leonard, who was visiting the team Tuesday.
Jones said Leonard was being evaluated at the team's medical facility and added he would have lunch with Leonard.
“It’s not real hard to look and see what a player [Leonard has] been,” Jones said. “He’s been outstanding during his career. We’ll want to check his health, see where he is currently."

Leonard is also set to take a visit with Dallas' rival, Philadelphia Eagles. Jones said it doesn't surprise him that the Eagles were also interested.
"I don't know that you would stop there. There are probably several teams [Leonard] could make a contribution to," Jones said.
At the end of the interview, Jones praised the play of both Prescott and Bland. Jones said Prescott's performance as of late is as good as it has ever been and credited head coach Mike McCarthy for his coaching development of Prescott.
Prescott also announced over the weekend that he and his girlfriend would be expecting a baby girl. Jones said he was thrilled to hear the news and happy for his team's quarterback.
"No one deserves that any more so in his life than Dak," Jones said.
