Fire crews battle fire at Dallas Cowboys training facility in Oxnard, California

According to Head Coach Mike McCarthy, everyone is OK.

OXNARD, Calif. — Fire crews responded to the Dallas Cowboys Training Camp facility after a fire reportedly broke out at the Residence Inn on Tuesday evening.

According to the Head Coach Mike McCarthy, no one was hurt and the team is going forward with their walk-through practice and treating everything business as usual.

The fire reportedly broke out in one of the rooms at the hotel. However, no one was in the room at that time, according to the Cowboys.

Videos taken at the scene by WFAA photographers show light-colored smoke in the air as fire alarms go off in the distance.

Fire crews are currently still on the scene.

The Dallas Cowboys released the following statement on the incident:

"There was a fire emergency in one of the guest rooms this afternoon at the team's hotel in Oxnard, Calif. The emergency was contained to one room, that was empty at the time, and there were no injuries. The Dallas Cowboys thank the Oxnard Fire Department and Oxnard Police Department for their quick response and reaction to the situation."

This is a developing story. WFAA will update this article with the latest.
