ARLINGTON, Texas — The Dallas Cowboys have the best kicker in the league, and he just showed it again on Sunday.
Brandon Aubrey connected on a 65-yard field goal in the first quarter of the Cowboys game against the Baltimore Ravens, to cut the Baltimore lead to 7-3 at the time.
Aubrey hit a 66-yarder during the preseason that advanced stats suggested could have been good from 71. Now he's hit a similar kick in a regular season that actually counts.
The only other player to kick a 66-yarder was on the other sideline, Ravens' Justin Tucker.
In his two seasons with Dallas, Aubrey hasn't missed a single field goal over 50 yards.
Aubrey is all the offense Dallas has been able to muster early on – as the Cowboys have fallen into an early 14-3 hole.
