DALLAS — The Dallas Cowboys are set to report to training camp Wednesday, but the team will likely be missing its star wide receiver.

Multiple reports claim CeeDee Lamb will not report to the training camp in Oxnard, California. Lamb is entering the final year of his contract, which guarantees him $17.99 million.

The star WR, who garnered a career-high 1,749 yards last season, is holding out for a contract extension--like many young players in his position.

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson was given a four year $140 million contract in June, making his salary nearly double that of Lamb's.

Lamb did not show up for offseason team workouts, so the decision to extend his holdout into training camp is not much of a surprise.

However, Lamb is not the only Cowboys star with a looming extension. QB Dak Prescott and LB Micah Parsons are also entering the final year of their contracts and looking for a bigger payday.

This offseason has been marked by a lack of major contract or free agent moves to the frustration of Cowboys players and fans alike. With the season on the horizon, the Cowboys faithful are praying for Jerry and Stephen Jones to make their moves soon.
