Texas-Texas A&M tickets: Going to the game is going to cost a fortune. Here's what the prices look like.

After not playing each other for more than a decade, the 13-year drought comes back with a vengeance and an SEC title game berth on the line.

TEXAS, USA — Thirteen long years.

College football has been without one of its most prized rivalries for more than a decade. But with Texas making the same move as Texas A&M – from the Big 12 to the SEC – the schedule makers blessed college football fans with a rivalry restored.

The centuries-old rivalry has been played 118 times since 1894, and the last iteration ended in dramatic fashion on Thanksgiving: A game-winning field goal as time expired from now-Ravens kicker Justin Tucker.

This year, Texas-Texas A&M will be the most-hyped college football game of the season – both in part due to its implications (SEC title berth vs. Georgia) and also the long-awaited rivalry renewal. And the cost of tickets is evidence that both these factors are at play.

TickPick has dubbed the game “the most expensive college football game ever.”

WFAA's Teresa Woodard (an Aggie herself) spoke to a fan on each side of this historic, heated rivalry. To watch their conversations, click here.

Here is what a pair of the cheapest tickets available are running for as of this publication (price + fees):

Remember, these are the cheapest seats available in the upper bowl of Kyle Field. Many tickets in the lower bowl average anywhere from $1,500 to $3,500. Average ticket prices in the upper bowl ranged from $800 to $1,000.

Texas and Texas A&M kick off from Kyle Field at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30. and the game will be aired on WFAA.
