DALLAS — Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving is dropping his signature shoe with ANTA, the KAI 1, at Sneaker Politics in Dallas on March 6.
The shoe features graphics and details inspired by Irving’s Native American ancestry, according to the shoe's website:
- Shield of Protection: On the tongue of the shoe lies a mirrored emblem, representing his graceful and elegant playing style.
- Strength: The heel of the shoe is supported with a heel stabilizer, carbon plate, and a tough outsole.
- Agility: The shoes lightweight design helps with maneuverability.
- Focus: The website says "Kyrie's intense focus and ability to make decisive plays are embodied in the ANTA KAI 1's stable and supportive structure, ensuring you stay grounded and ready to pivot at a moment's notice."
- Speed: The ANTA KAI 1 is equipped with a responsive sole, reflecting Kyrie's rapid acceleration and seamless movement across the court.
