ARLINGTON, Texas — The World Series champion Texas Rangers begin their season against the Chicago Cubs on Thursday, March 28 for Opening Day.
The Rangers and Cubs will play a three-game series at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, concluding with the second and third games on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31.
For the opening series, the Rangers will wear their gold-trimmed jerseys to commemorate the franchise's first championship in history. Fans were able to purchase items from their "Gold Collection" on March 21 at the Grand Slam Team Store at Globe Life Field.

When does Globe Life Field open?
Globe Life Field parking lots will open at 2 p.m. and ballpark gates will open at 3:30 p.m. on Opening Day. The Rangers encourage fans to arrive early on opening day.
When does Texas Rangers batting practice start?
Rangers’ batting practice begins at 3:30 p.m. followed by the Cubs at 4:30 p.m.
When is the Texas Rangers' World Series banner ceremony?
The pregame ceremonies are scheduled to start at 6 p.m. The World Series banner drop is scheduled to happen at 6:12 p.m.
When do Texas Rangers players get their World Series rings?
Rangers players and on-field coaches and staff will receive their 2023 World Series Championship rings in a pregame ceremony during Saturday's game on March 30 beginning at 5:20 p.m.
