ARLINGTON, Texas — Developers say the only thing missing from Arlington's entertainment district is a place to law your head at night.
The development of One Rangers Way, luxury apartments steps away from Globe Life Field and Arlington's Texas Live! was only a matter of time, Rob Matwick, executive vice president of business operations for the Texas Rangers, said.
“We truly believe that there is a segment of the population that wants to live close to the action," Matwick said.
Aziz Francis Copti is part of the segment, he is the first person to sign a lease at One Rangers Way, which isn't set to be complete until Jan. 2025. Prices will range from $1,500 a month to penthouses in the $4,000-a-month range.
“I was like, this is really gonna be something special,” Copti said. “Being able to go outside of here and boom I have three of the most world-class stadiums.”
He thinks the entertainment district will soon be home to a thriving community.
“People are ready to lift each other, do business with each other, and form a community in the Arlington Entertainment District that wasn’t here before,” Copti said.
