ARLINGTON, Texas — Major League Baseball (MLB) and the Texas Rangers announced Wednesday they are hiring approximately 600 part-time employees to join the MLB All-Star Experience Team.
Anyone 18 years old or older can apply through May 15 to be part of the MLB All-Star Experience Team at AllStarGame.com. People hired to be part of the MLB All-Star Experience Team will work with customers of the All-Star Weekend. Roles people can apply for include:
- Capital One All-Star Village Interactive Assistants
- Capital One All-Star Village will feature several activities that allow fans to swing for the fences, showcase their pitching velocity, steal bases, take photos with MLB Trophies, and train like the pros. All these areas require support to help fans pick the right equipment, ensure safety precautions, and assist with running overall interactive features.
- Guest Services
- Guest Services team members will assist fans with wayfinding, signing up for various activities, distributing promotional giveaways, directing guests to amenities like the sensory room and nursing room, and most importantly, helping fans sign up for the All-Star Experience Pass, which is a tool that provides the ultimate guest experience for fans.
Those who work for the MLB All-Star Experience Team will be paid for their time and also receive an All-Star Experience Team performance shirt, MLB All-Star Experience Team hat, MLB All-Star cinch bag, MLB All-Star Game water bottle, commemorative All-Star Experience Team baseball, and unlimited access to Capital One All-Star Village.
Anyone who applies to be part of the MLB All-Star Experience Team will be asked to attend a virtual information session in June before being accepted. Required All-Star Experience Team training takes place prior to All-Star Week, and staff will work shifts from July 13 to July 16, officials said in a press release.
