KELLER, Texas — Keller ISD this week announced the hiring of former NFL player and LD Bell defensive coordinator Eric Vance as Keller Central’s new head football coach and boys athletics coordinator.
Vance spent the last three years as a defensive coordinator at his alma mater, LD Bell. Before his time there, Vance worked at Southlake Carroll, Trophy Club Byron Nelson, and Saginaw Chisholm Trail.
Vance’s NFL career includes stints with the Chargers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and New England Patriots.
Vance replaces Mike Sports at Keller Central. Sports resigned from the program this winter.
